Some see AmeriCorps as a domestic version of the peace corps. It provides
the opportunity for people of all ages to serve their community in exchange
for a small stipend and college tuition assistance. This is a recruitment
video that was intended to have a wide reach. We thought the most
compelling voices would be former AmeriCorps volunteers who could reflect on
how the AmeriCorps experience shaped their career goals and their sense of
self.
